Chicago Sunday, 1914
Dear Family,
We got to Minneapolis at 4:45 and had plenty of time for everything.  Mr. And Mrs. Whitelaw were down to see us off, also Emma and Miss Jones.  Mr. W. brought us a box of McKusicks.  Jane saw several St B. nurses and also Ethel Frye.  Lydia come to Minneapolis today.  We arrived at 8:55 and leave at 11.  Arrive in Washington Monday at 10:45 a.m.  Leave there at 12:20 Tuesday.  Very few people on the train so we had lots of room.  It is very hot but a refreshing breeze blowing.  Mr. Chandler advised us to take a boat to Mt. Vernon and trolley back, and then take a rubberneck neck car.  Both feeling fine.  Mr. De Booy got on the train in Big Lake.
                         With love,
                           Frances V. Mosford
